The Objective
UC Santa Cruz has launched the largest campaign in its history to fuel transformative education, breakthrough research, and community solutions that matter.
Over 42,000 supporters have already helped unlock nearly half of the $750 million goal that will expand scholarships, hands-on learning, and innovation across climate, health and the arts. This campaign will make many lives better and will deepen UC Santa Cruz’s impact across California and the world.

The Assignment
Working with existing campaign creative and in close collaboration with UCSC’s Giving and Brand teams, Barretto was charged with extending the campaign visual language to digital and print media.
Our objective was to bring the campaign creative “to life” on UCSC’s Giving website at launch, coinciding with an extravagant event held at the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium.



Impact
A gift to UC Santa Cruz brings about the solutions that allow our planet and its people to flourish.
The interactive event invitation and revamped user experience of the Giving website addresses donor way-finding needs more effectively, provides easy access to new support areas, and strengthens the engagement between the university and its’ community.
