Goal: to empower entrepreneurs, particularly those who are socially and economically disadvantaged, through responsible lending that is backed by the State of California.

A free and easy-to-navigate, one-stop solution, caloanmatch.org, brings together more than 20 lenders across the state who are considered responsible and non-predatory. IIE brings together public, private, and philanthropic entities to maximize and build upon the U.S. Department of Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) by expanding innovative products for small business owners of color, breaking down systemic barriers, and ultimately unlocking billions of dollars in federal investments aimed at underserved small businesses. The program has successfully supported more than $2 billion in loans to small businesses across the state since 2013.
